Since from the childhood we have come across many toy rc toys and other things.

one of the most used was RC cars,but these were of low speed but still we would enjoy playing with it.

in this article im here to share information on brushed and brushless motor for rc cars  

What are brushed and brushless motor

The major difference between a brushed motor and brushless motor is that brushed motor contains brushes which are in contact of a commutator of the rotor coil.

this brushes are made use to make electrical contact to commutator 

brushed motor has two wire connection while brushless has three wire connection

To know which one is better choice for you it totally depend for what kind of situation you are going to use. 

brushed motors are good because it has low speeds control and can climb rocks,but bad side is that these rc car motors brushes wear out and you may need a replacement or repair of RC motor and also have low power then brushless motor

• good to start with rc cars

disadvantage

• short lifespan and needs repain due to wear and tear of brushes

brushless motor have high power,long lifespan and no maintenance except for bearing you may to need to lubricate for smooth run 

• it produces much more power
• more battery efficient and gives more run time then brushed 
• drag break while going down 
• this rc motor is dustproof
• rpm range is much wide 

disadvantage 

• price is high
